It's not a thing to turn through a junction when lights are red BUT in Sweden turning on green also comes with a pedestrian green crossing at the sametine so drivers have to wait on pedestrians crossing even though lights are green.

Nope and I hate when drivers do that. Just because it’s legal, you don’t have to turn right on red.

Yep drivers will honk at you if you sit at a red light on right and don’t turn.

In my experience, some do and some don’t. Those who don’t know that you don’t have to turn on red if you don’t want to.

Obviously, if it’s clear, I’ll go ahead and turn, but if it’s heavy traffic, I’m more cautious. I don’t like to peel out just to appease the person behind me.
