Find something to hold onto, as you'll get exhausted quickly. Then find something big enough to crawl onto and keep yourself out of the water. Undercooling or hypothermia happens when the body loses heat faster than it can produce heat. As soon as the body temperature falls below 35 degree (Celsius, about 95 Fahrenheit), your chances of survival are very slim.

after the storm, I'll just bob and hang out around... if land is near enough, then I should just try to catch a current, if not.. I'll just wait for three days max till someone shows up
