Yo can't say I have but every year we do have a Virginia City camel race and there's camels everywhere and whether you're coming or going there's always monkeys driving the cars as you're trying to get home
And then you have to use caution anyway because every once in a while you run into a herd of wild horses
And then if you live up in lake Tahoe and you're on your way home there's always the chance that you're going to have to stop and wait for the herd of deer to cross the road.
But yeah around here there's always monkeys driving cars
It's kind of weird I wonder how DMV allows a lot of people to drive nowadays it's crazy
No but I did have a cat on my car once and wouldn't move so I slowly backed the car down the driveway and realized he ain't jumping off so I put it in park and called out sick lol. I was 19 and got paid like 5 bucks an hour. It wasn't worth it. I wasn't about to kill a cat for 20 bucks worth of pay that day
I keep seeing the warning signs but never the camels
I got your monkeys!

Not the monkeys, as we were in Egypt, but there was a giant herd of camels (over 200) that took a while to pass over the road so the bus I was on had to stop.
More recently and more exciting, I was in Sri Lanka and there were elephants on the road, just messing with vehicles for fun I guess? The first time I was not really paying attention and the bus driver starts honking and swerving, but I thought it was odd he wasn't slowing down at all. Until I looked out the window and saw the massive elephant. The next time it happened wasn't too much later and so I was prepared with my phone and got a great video of it. I had to duck back inside as the elephant came within a meter of the bus window I was hanging out of to record!
No camels or monkeys. I once had a cat crossing the road and stopping in the middle of the road, completely frozen looking at the headlight. I had to swerve around the cat on my motorcycle, no time to use the brakes. I don't know who scared the hell out of who.
When I was a kid, we lived in Africa, and I remember we were driving home in an old black Dodge. When we were nearly at our house, suddenly a few monkeys jumped on the front of the car. My father hit the brakes brutally, and from the backseat I landed in the front one... There were no security belts at the time ;0)
In India, when travelling with my wife, it was rather common, for instance in Delhi, to have a cow, monkey or even a horse blocking the traffic.
monkeys- yes
langurs- yes
dogs- yes
elephant- yes
camel- not in front of my car but I see one entering the traffic
buffalo/cow/bull- yes
horse with a man riding it- slowing the traffic
No, but that would be awesome. When I lived in Cape Town, South Africa, we had gone to the cape of good hope and, iirc, we had to stop because penguins were crossing the road. Adorable
None of those, but I have had deer, squirrels, cats and opossums dart across the road in front of me. Fortunately, I've always been able to avoid hitting them.
I was but then I realized they were just human beings driving cyber trucks in LA. Different animals and habitat im afraid 🤔
I noticed that, too!! It's why I'm always late for work. I keep telling everyone about it at the print shop but nobody believes me! Now, I've got pictures I can show them!! Thanks!!
no, I've had deer, cows, geese, turkeys, bison/buffalos, bicycles, but no camels.
We are not in camel country here.
Nor I here
We have lots of monkeys here , nasty little pricks , but there are no camels , elephants a plenty.
I saw a lot of monkeys in india but not camels :) I saw camels when I was in Doha though those rich people love keeping animals.
No, but I had to cross a picket line once and it got a little dicey.
Was coming home from shopping last year and my car was surrounded by protrstors blocking the roads. I was very scared and my car was keyed and wing mirror got kicked off.
Yes, but after they gave me the dose of Narcan, I was all better, LOL!
No, but i'd bet it would be interesting to say the least!
@Smashingdoozy I usually have elephants and Orangutans blocking the road here in California
Can't say I've ever found myself in that type of pickle
No but I had to look out for a deer the other day on a round about
Doesn't happen toooo often in NYC! :P
