I'm going to be honest. I am the sock fairy.

I steal socks with a combination of my telepathic and teleportation techniques. I use them once they have been washed and are dried for my pleasure to become my happy socks. I prefer women's socks, especially with small feet.

Once I explode all my pleasure upon the sock, I have leftovers that will drip out and mess up my boxers. This is when I go for the baby socks.

I go through about a handful of these a day.

These things have a snug fit, so I can wear them after I explode with delightfulness and go to your Birthday party and not have to worry about it slipping off while I'm limp and falling out of my shorts before I even see your Birthday suit.

Seriously I got so annoyed with this that I stopped searching and I just buy new ones every so often lol.

I'm sure they are just getting stuck in small crevices but I don't have time to be playing FBI just to find socks. And when I accidentally find them I throw them away because it's not a match, but just one by itself lmao

There is a small space between the chassis and the Tub. sometimes a sock can get stuck in that space and when the tub goes around it gets swallowed up in that space and ends up in the area where the motor is. you will become re united with your socks when you have to put a new belt in your dryer.

I had to start laughing when I read this because it is true I can tell you where they go one of these days your washing machine is going to have to be fixed because they're down in the filters thing but anyway the reason why I had to start laughing is because it's winter.. and I have 50 pair of gloves probably except for their only the left hands where do the right hands go

Socks don't disappear. Either you didn't put the entire pair in because you left it in your bedroom under the bed, dresser, or whatever or when you were taking the socks out of the washer or drier you dropped a sock between or to the side of the machines and it's sitting on the floor. If you have dogs, sometimes they steal them when they are lonely because your socks smell like you.

This is a serious question. Students at MIT did a scientific study several years ago and discovered that there's a 1 in 50 probability that a sock will disappear when it goes into the laundry. They did not discover where the socks went. I'd guess they just disintegrate and go out with dryer lint. Or maybe to Sock Heaven.
