You should wrap some coal and Adress it to him under your tree so your little one can see him open it lol.

Ironically as an adult, my dad got me coal for may years in a row (because I had an open fire in my last house) was a running joke, but was nice coz it always made Christmas warm and cozy, nice gesture.

In terms of helping, as I'm a dad.

My first Christmas with my daughter after not seeing her for 3 years, we made a reinder landing strip in the garden out of tea lights.

Did the milk and cookies.

She had writen santa a letter already, so in the morning I wrote one and left it on her santa present, I left coal /sootty black finger prints on the letter (because he came down our chimney).

Get creative, they lap that shit up lol, she loved it and makes great memories.

Parenting is about the effort. Got to put the work In. 💪

You need to tell her your brother is just mad because he's been a bad boy and he already know he's getting coal this year. So he's telling you there's no Santa so you end up Santa's naughty list as well.

It all depends how is she being raised in all aspects by her care taker (mom)… that counts more than one incident.
if you show resentment towards a family member… she too will learn that.

Boy, I don’t have kids. That is a tough one. Maybe just say that is not true and Santa is real and that your brother was trying to make a joke or something.

She is young enough to buy something like that.

Okay so now you have to convince her. Do what my parents used to have us do. Have her put milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer by the fireplace. When she goes to sleep, you know what to do then. Leave the empty plate and glass there and show her in the morning.
