I've officially ripped out my tomato plant. It ended up being about 9 ft tall. Got lots of yummy tomatoes off it. It stole all the nutrients and sun from the other plants but now my capsicum is finally ripening and has more flowers. Got a lot of cucumbers too. They're still growing. Any ideas on what to plant for the winter months?

My garden has suffered this year. This bipolar stormy weather going around NZ keeps messing with my plants. I've currently got 4 out of 5 silverbeet plants that are randomly dying, 5th one seems to be flourishing though. And 5 out of 7 strawberry plants aren’t doing well. Birds have stolen a few of my butternut pumpkin plants too. Ugh.

Coming into the colder months now, we’ve just planted broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, beetroot and brown onions. Best time to plant them is Autumn.

I did not have a garden last summer. The last few years my garden has been raided by bunnies.

I'm a huge garden lover and love planting as well. But I don't have any regular garden nowadays unfortunately. Though I have few pots where I planted some trees and plants and they look fine.

Well dead lol it's winter here so it's usually below freezing.

Cherry tomatoes, baby beetroot, courgette (zucchini), cucumber, jalapeno, capsicum (bell pepper) 😊 have some herbs too regular chives, garlic chives, sage, parsley, rosemary and lemongrass

So the whole salad basically, it's much more worth it that way I imagine, I'd garden if I had a backyard.
