I try hard. But what I plant won't thrive. And what I don't plant pops up in excess :)

But I do have some ''success'' overall

Yeah we have some vegetables, tomatoes, salads, fruits and herbs in our garden.

I like having a vegtable garden. I skipped it this year. I have been too busy with work and last year I spent lot of time on it just to feed the bunnies.

@Sparkie460 We have a whole herd of them. They are not very afraid of humans either They come right up on my front porch.. One got in my garage and climbed up the stairs in my loft. i found his corpse in the spring.

My daughter had 2 bunnies where she lives. The hawk got both of them. One disappeared, the other was injured so they took it to the vet. Now it's their pet bunny

@Sparkie460 I would love to see a group of hawks come and thin the herd. It is getting a little scary. I never realized how much my cat did around the property until we didn't have him anymore.

@Sparkie460 if my father was alive he would pick off a few either his.22. He used to shoot squirrels from the bathroom window and take them to his mothers and she would fry them up they were not as tasty as you might imagine

@Sparkie460 I have had deer. One day my next door neighbor bangs on my door. It was about 4 o'clock. He asks if I could help him with something. So I get up and we walk down to the beach. There was a big deer lying at the shoreline. My neighbor was out in his lobster boat and saw the deer swimming in the channel so he pulls along side of him, puts a rope around his neck and cuts his throat. It is very illegal to do that. So he wanted me to help drag him up the beach and into his basement before the warden came by. So we dragged him into the basement. There was blood and hair all over the rocks.
A couple of weeks later he brought over some deer steaks. I grilled one that night. It was not great but the rest of them I cut up and put them in a stew and they were good.

It's easy. Stick plants in the ground, fertilize, water, pick the vegetables and eat
