u 11 moDon't worry about getting older. You'll still be beautiful when you're 147 years old.

Wow, that guy is simping hard.
- 11 mo
@Miristheiss Which guy?
- 11 mo
The one telling you how beautiful you'll be at 147.
- 11 mo
@Miristheiss "Simp" means a guy who will say anything to score points and curry favor with a lady, hoping to maybe even advance towards a sexual relationship.
1. I am a happily married man and I have no interest in pursing any other female. @wowgirl4ever knows that.
2. @wowgirl4ever is a married woman and I have never had any interest in pursuing any married woman other than my own wife. She knows that. And she is not interested in pursuing anyone else.
3. If I was single, I would not pursue someone 35 years younger than me.
4. My relationship with @wowgirl4ever is a mixture of friendship and paternal affection. We have been friends for many years.
5. We already hold each other in high regard and I don't need to do anything to score points with her. I did extend a compliment in a slightly humorous manner, and it was intended sincerely, but not with any ulterior motive.
6. Calling people names when you know nothing about them reflects poorly on you. The gentlemanly thing to do would be to apologize to both of us. - 11 mo
What the heck did I miss? Do not defend yourself you have done nothing wrong. @OlderAndWiser
- 11 mo
They don't realize you almost came to my wedding 😂

At least I'm healthy and don't look too bad.
Sometimes it bugs me to be thought of as old by young people. But hey, I remember when I was a teen and thought 30 was old. I never imagined age creeping up on me. Time just goes by without noticing.
But every age I've been has had it's own kind of fun. I have the memories of the most amazing things. And I'm still having fun.33 Reply
11 moWell, I'm 70, and set aside some annoying limitations appearing, actually I'm rather curious about what's going to happen next while getting older. I notice a form of general understanding about topics younger people can't have a clue of. Thus, no, I don't mind getting older. Getting aware that the end approaches makes every genuine experience more precious.
Nothing in this universe stays for ever. Everything changes and evolves into something else. A 35 years old person, telling they get anxious about getting older, makes me smile ;0)

Ugh! Getting older is quite horrible starting from 29. I don't want to get older. I want to stay young and fun, not old and boring. Getting older sucks! Alas it is unstoppable.
10 Reply643 opinions shared on Other topic. Nah, not anymore. The older I get, the more I learn to enjoy the simple things in life.

I like this saying...
"We get too old too soon and too late smart" "Wisdom" has nothing to do with being smart. Wisdom is about not putting your hand on the stove burner, twice. Once is plenty... for most, but not all.

When it snows, many drivers forget that it's slippery. Those are the people who are upside down in the ditch. They are not wise. The four wheel drives are the worst. Having four wheel drive is good for propelling you, but it really doesn't help in the stopping process. They keep forgetting that. Not wise.

11 moNothing I can do about getting older other than learn to live with it. So No, I don't mind getting older.
Look, younger people get older faster than older people.
Let's take a 25 yo and a 60 yo one year later.
The 25 yo will be 26 yo, which is an increase of 4% older, while the 60 yo will be 61 yo, which is an increase of only 1% older.
10 Reply 777 opinions shared on Other topic. Not even I'm still healthy. Tone and it great shape for me life has been a great experience and each day something changes something's different and you have to go with it it is what it is and if you have a good foundation you just keep going with it the outside's gotten a little bit older but the inside still 25 . . I think I'll always be okay with it as long as I can just keep doing what I'm doing I'm happy I'm content for the moment anyway and I take on every challenge that comes across me

11 moIt's easier to just be myself now that I'm older, so I like it. That being said, it's embarrassing when I forget that I'm not 20 years old and I ask some Starbucks barista for her phone number and she's like, yeah you're a creep. I'm all like, sorry, I forgot I was twice your age when I was basically swept away by your beauty. Other than that it's pretty cool.
00 Reply832 opinions shared on Other topic. Yea it sucks sometimes but I try to make the best of it as much as i can and try to enjoy it as much as possible , even though I am 46 I, still feel young at heart and have similar fun like I did when I was younger , J am just not as wild as I use to be , but I still enjoy partying and mingling with people drink beer and listen to music , loud music and concerts as well. and fun girls’ 😋 Now that my kids’ are older I plan on traveling and visiting fun places that I never been to before ,

Hello sir
- 1.8K opinions shared on Other topic.
11 moI still look the same now at almost 40 as I did at age 14
I'll still look this way at 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, etc. because I already know what aging actually is, and so its easy enough to avoid/reverse.
Most people still think being older is what causes aging, but its not, it works the same as healing (or not healing) from a cut.011 Reply- 11 mo
@thespacegnome
Prove that you still look the same as you did as you did at 14. - 11 mo
@MysteriousDarkness yeah
- 11 mo
I sure as hell don't

@MysteriousDarkness and @wowgirl4ever I'm not posting pics on here just for your sake, I'd get literally nothing out of it and I don't owe you anything.
There are other people online who also don't age besides me, its some some fantastic feat, just healthy habits. Go gawk at them if thats your thing.
- 11 mo
its not some fantastic feat*
- 11 mo
I didn't ask for one so,,,
- 11 mo
Because I'm nice though, I'll point out what I do.
Don't drink alcohol (ever)
Don't smoke (ever)
Don't do any recreational drigs on any kind. (ever)
Avoid intense heat, build a tolerance for cold.
When stressed, fix the problem instead of putting up with it.
Don't catch any retroviral infections.
Don't get any severe injuries you can't completely heal from.
Never have any organs removed.
Make sure your diet allows for enough collegen building so you don't scar from injuries.
Learn what the ingredients/nutrients/poisons in food do to your body and how they interact with eachother (for example how vitamin D and fiber effect insulin, or how sugar effects salt, etc, basically study the complexities of metabolism).
- 11 mo
@wowgirl4ever you said yeah when @MysteriousDarkness requested proof, so I figured you meant the same thing they did.
- 11 mo
@thespacegnome
I doubt you will look 14 when in your 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s - 11 mo
@MysteriousDarkness There is no reason I wouldn't, aging is from disease, not time.

Anonymous(36-45)11 moLosing a friend at 30 years old really put into perspective how dumb freaking out about aging really was. My friend will never have kids, never travel again, never have grandkids, never live out his dreams. The health part of aging sucks as you lose a bit of this and that, and you deal socially with agism, and your body changing toward the decline, but it is what it is. Nothing you can do, but keep going.
00 ReplyI don't imagine how many people not make it to the age that you're at imagine how many people don't make it to their elder years yeah it's tough and sometimes you want to give up but just look at it like this The good Lord shows not to take your life that's why you're here there's a lot of people that wish they could still be here but they're not take every day as a blessing sometimes every hour sometimes even down to the second it's a blessing cherish it

11 moNot so far. I mean, puberty was a bit of a mindf**k, but I guess it went pretty smoothly, and it's mostly over now. I'm able to vote now, so that's sort of interesting. I'm looking forward to being able to legally drink. And my face has more or less cleared up. So I guess for the most part, getting older has been a plus.
