Doesn't that mean you'd never get older than 10 years old?
Every 40-50 years, sure, as long as I can remember the previous lives. Otherwise that's just repeatedly dying young.
Immortality would be great, as long as I could end it on my own terms.

Interesting question. Assuming that each reincarnation erases any memory of a previous life, I'd rather be eternally immortal, able to learn things, and retain my memory of things as time progresses.

as humans we only have so many healthy years 10 is too short it's more like 50 before we have to deal with disease like diabetes cancer etc

Reincarnation sounds awfully romantic. As long as you would remember all those great memories. Knowing that when your current life was done another adventure awaits. But what if everybody did this and people who murdered others came for revenge? There would be activities that would give a whole new meaning to the words embezzling, racketeering, and insider trading. Maybe it's best man is given but once to live. Food for thee.

I imagine immortality would become excruciatingly boring. It could work if we didn't realize we were immortal, but woke up each day believing we were, say, 29 years old.
