If I positively knew there was an afterlife, then I would choose to stay mortal. If I positively knew there wasn't an afterlife, I would choose to become immortal for sure. If I was being offered immortality, but didn't have any way of knowing whether there was an afterlife or not, then I'm not entirely sure what I would do, but I'm leaning towards choosing immortality, because I wouldn't want to risk permanent death in hopes for a better life, if I have the option to be immortal on earth. Earth life isn't so bad. Nearly all of it's problems can be solved by having all the time in the world that comes with immortality.

Immortality can be curse. Especially if you live in this broken world watch your loved ones kids and your grand kids die of old age. You will experience physical and emotional pain on a level you can't imagine.
I'm torn because I don't like dealing with painful situations in life. It would be hard to know I'd never get away from the unhappiness. But I also don't like the idea of losing my looks to aging. The choice of being able to keep looking the same instead of looking any older is very tempting.

I would love to become immortal! I would see so many changes happening in the world and I wouldn't have to be worried about dying.

I would become immortal because you would the only person on Earth and that would make you unique and stand out. Plus, you would have the power to do anything you want without the risk of dying. Secretly, I like the idea of being a vigilante like Batman.
I don't really even want to live after 85 years old, I think, so take that immortality crap somewhere else. I would accept an offer to restart life upon the time of my natural death, but the only way I want to keep living is if I start over every 85 or so years in a new body as a new baby.
immortal live for ever but still die
imortality. live forever and can not die
there's verisue combinations. but
if you say my body is indstructable, have infinint memmory andable to be turn off all pain recepters, as well ass servive in all enverments. then ok like be superman sure i will take up immortality with no weaknessImmortal i will go the the end of univers.
Have a lots of womans, go to joil, get free, change indetity a lot of times.

I can do what ever i want in this world from murder to parys.
See the evolutions, see the end of the world for real.
Go afther in space
Finde diferent planets
see the end of the univers.
I WILL BE ABLE TO DO WHAT EVER I WANTdepends on the condition of said "imortality". like would i also be invulnerable? because at a certain point, being "alive" can be pure agony and pain with no chance of ever getting better (physically speaking). and not being able to die is not a positive thing under those conditions.
I don't want to stay alive and have to burry my children, grandchildren , and everyone i loved.
Either all of my loved ones are immortal as well, or I just want to die like everyone else.
So i pick mortal.
I believe in an afterlife anyways.I've known my answer for this kind of question since grade 3 when the teacher made us read tuck everlasting. I wouldn't want to live forever because everybody else would die and the world would end but if still be around, alone, forever.
No, cause then everyone you know or love on earth is gone and people you meet will eventually go too. It would get boring, plus you have to wake up and work forever while living immortally on earth? Naw... im good.
I would live forever if had the chance. Not gonna lie... If I somehow became immortal, I would totaly start doing some SuperHero/SuperVillian Shit! I would Deadpool it up! Why not? If you can't die, then live it up! YOLO!
I'm a religious guy, which probably shapes my answer, but I think even without that, I'd stay mortal. The experience of losing everything and everyone over and over again, of having to either go numb or totally callous yourself? No thanks.
Life is better when it has an end.
That said, immortality does give rise to interesting ways to "game" life. But it'd get boring fairly quickly.I mean obviously mortal because once you live past everyone you've ever known you will go into a depression and then hate that you can't just join them in heaven.
I would want to be immortal as long as i would always be healthy. Imagine everything you could see and do.
Immortal, but only if I can still kill myself if I want to. If it's immortality + invulnerability then I would say no.
stay mortal but maybe extend my lifeline. Like I would want to live till I am 150-200 years old
Mortal, take me off this planet already lol
I feel like Im not allowed to get what I want so I guess immortality is what I'll end up withStay mortal. I don't have the desire to live forever and keep watching my loved ones pass away.
I would want to be immortal. There’s so much I want to learn, I could never do it in one lifetime. And yes you’d outlive everyone you love, but you can create new relationships.
Mortal.
I'm not afraid of dying, but I am afraid to see my loved ones die...Immortal and forever young,
even if it has to cost people's lives.
