Not at all. That would be, quite literally, a living hell.

Outliving all your friends an family, watching them grow old and die, watching humanity evolve past you, leaving you to remain as a relic of a forgotten era.

If you get stuck somewhere, you're trapped forever. When humans are gone, you'll have nobody to talk to. You'd go mad. When the sun goes nova, and destroys the Earth you'll be left to drift, forever alone, through the vacuum of space.

There are days where the only comfort I have in this life is knowing that it will eventually be over, and I can rest. Immortality is the last thing I would want, because it would rob me of that hope.

Not immortal, because I don't think your own physical evolution can be stopped. You'd get older and older, just hanging around while the others around you disappear.

I'd like to be able to get a new lease of life, or several times. Come back several times, experience reincarnation within different time spans. Start all over again with all the knowledge you gathered from (a) previous life (s).

Sure. I think any of us could become wealthy in a lifetime or two, if you're even kind of trying. After that, you'd spend the rest of your immortal life only working when you find it fun. Your time would actually belong to you, forever. You could do anything you wanted, see the world change with the times. New things would be created, so you'd never reach the point of "there's nothing left to do."

Given enough time and accumulated knowledge, you'd likely transcend human thinking. Become something more akin to a god. Not in the sense that you can perform miracles or anything. Just that you'd be far more wise. Far more capable. Your thought processes would seem alien to everyone else.

It would just be very interesting.
