Depends is the right answer. I am taking examples from even the same show. Doctor WHO. SPOILER WARNING for stories from 9,10,11,12. I try to tell it from least to most spoilery not in chronologiycal order.
With all these options on the table no! I Would not choose to become immortal if given the choice.
It depends if I didn't age.. and I stayed 28 forever.. then yes I would be immortal.. because then time and age wouldn't be an issue so I could live how I please, unlike how I am under pressure constantly because time keeps going forward.
NO!
GOD, NO!
THAT'S A FORM OF PUNISHMENT! (*)
Besides, it would violate the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.
(*) You should really think about why this is so. It is a very maturing experience and, once you understand the answer, you will appreciate your life, your place in it, and the wisdom of God.
Living 10,000 years with aggressive brain cancer or crotch necrosis or something like that wouldn't be fun, so it'd have to come with Wolverine like healing. Also I wouldn't want to spend eternity floating through space after the sun collapses, so it'd have to have a sunset clause on it.

People who say no are just mad lol. They going to be thinking damn yeah when it comes to the end of their life. Our lives are pretty short and years go by quickly we need at least a couple more lives before we can call it a day and been immortal fixes that.
It really depends on what you mean by immortal. If you mean I will age and get really old but never die... then no. But if I stopped ageing... then maybe but there would need to be some purpose behind it all.
But if we are talking superpowers, I would choose any of ten other powers.
If there is anything akin to a Biblical Heaven and I get to be there, yes. Just be immortal on this planet, no. Eventually the planet will be rendered lifeless and then destroyed as the Sun goes through its stages. Floating alone forever in space with nothing but my thoughts sounds very much like Hell to me.
I think being knowingly immortal would eventually be excruciatingly boring. The only way to make it good would be to perpetually be in good health, and have false memories of a limited past.
Depends on what type of immortal I am.. If I'm absolutely immortal to where the only thing that could get me is an omnipotent being/God... Yeah I wouldn't mind, even in this kinda miserable but beautiful world..
No that would be an absolute curse, I believe this world is currently transitioning towards a dictatorship. If that happens and I can't die they can abuse me forever.
Yes, absolutely I would!
My religious belief is that will eventually happen to all of us through mortal death and then eventual resurrection to immortality through Jesus Christ
nooo, i'm already struggling with life as it is. and plus, all of my loved ones wouldn't also be immortal i'm assuming, so that seems like a very sad life already.
No. I've already outlived too many people I love, including my brother.
Besides, I'm not sure I want some Scottish guy chasing me with a broadsword...
Can't think of anything worse. To see everyone I know die. To see the human race die out. To see the earth engulfed by the sun. Then what? Float in space till time ends?
It depends on if I can remain like how I am currently and not still age into a decaying pile of mess over time.
And also my family boyfriend and friends can be immortal too
It depends, if my loved ones are too, sure. But me alone? No thanks, I'll pass
Only if my body is also healed. To be immortal and not be able to run or climb again would suck.
It sounds tempting but I might regret it at some point so not sure...
Probably as long as I don’t have to work anymore because I’m rich or some reason like the Highlander
If I could choose the body, my age and my looks, then yes.
Never. Imagine a life of misery seeing every person you care about die.
too late...
I am immortal.
As long as I don't age I would be happy.
