I would not share that information with ANYONE and would live in secret because if the mortals found out about it, lickety split you'd get swooped up into some 54 level deep government bunker and it's experiments on you for the rest of your life, id est, forever, id est a living hell.
I would think long and hard about how to keep my secret a secret, first and foremost. You become an alien living among a VERY dangerous species.
Once I felt safe and secure about that, I would go about securing long term resources like real estate to keep myself in money so I could keep a lower profile. I'm more or less working with Maslow's hierarchy and getting my foundations.
Those bottom two (along with ensuring my continued freedom and not getting locked in a bunker laboratory) met, I would then start to work on developing myself. Learning languages, consuming books, information, learning skills. I have forever, so the more I know and the more skilled I am, the better my life will be.
At some point, I would be interacting with mortal humans, but for the most part I think I would turn to non-human animals for companionship. Maybe I would start a ranch or animal sanctuary to this end. I'd have to figure out something in terms of not being caught out by locals for my longevity. Possibly I would have multiple estates, and rotate between them every decade or so, and hire out a groundskeeper (or do an exchange for residency).
Other than that, I don't know, I suppose I would pay attention to the mortals and what directions they were going, and plan accordingly to try and stay as safe as possible as they go about murdering each other in their various dramas. Just trying to stay out of the countries with the most conflict. If I managed to accrue significant enough resources, I might start to try and influence the direction of human progress, but that seems like it could expose me to danger of coming under scrutiny, so probably not, unless I could figure out how to do it in a very clandestine manner.
This is all assuming I am simply immortal, and not omnipotent. It would depend on the nature of my immortality. Like can my bones break? Can I get cut or shot or damaged in some way? Am I able to break any shackles or have super powers that I could get out of confinement? . The way you ask the question and say you would "convince more people to become immortals" makes it sound like other people can choose to become immortal in your scenario, which would potentially change my answer a bit.
the first thing I would do if I were immortal to kill all the people who are the followers of all bad people who existed in the history I mean from ancient to mediaeval history and from mediaeval to modern history. the second thing I would do to protect all the good people and to kill all the bad people. the third thing I would do is that I will learn all the languages which exist in this universe. the fourth thing I would do is that after taking 2000 years to learn all the languages which exist in this universe I will create a baby with my sperm in my own laboratory by the method which was used by VED VYAS in MAHABHARAT so that 100 babies born in a test tube made from the shell of a tree. the fifth thing I would do is to achieve all Saiyan forms from Super Saiyan 1 to Super Saiyan 4, Super Saiyan God to Super Saiyan Blue, Autonomous Ultra Instinct too so that I would easily kill every single bad human even if it meant to kill my own children too which I created in my laboratory in a test tube made from the shell of a tree.
That would be awful. I think I would grieve for a while. But then, I would make a plan. First, I would spend as much time as I possibly could with my family, knowing that my children would die before me. Then, I would want to become a scientist and also a doctor. I would want to understand everything possible about my condition. Then, I would spend eternity developing treatments and preventative medicine for different diseases, primarily focusing on pediatric care. I would also taking continuing education classes on technology and AI, as well as biomedicine and epigenetics. I would not marry, because I would have to lose spouses over and over again, and once has already been enough.
I would learn as much as I can. Languages, physic, mathematics, medicine, science... I would check out if knowledge is the key to conquer this planet.

Get far away from people. Otherwise I would definitely get mobbed by desperate hoards of narcissists demanding I make them immortal, too, or (if I can't do that) would be all too happy to put me in a cage until they figure out how to have it for themselves.
I think that I would be happy, even as an only immortal, as I don't really believe in afterlife.
Be a soldier or fire and rescue officer because i could fight war and never be killed, or go into burning buildings and never get killed. I could stand in the way of a terrorist or gunman and never get killed.
I'd have a series of relationships with mortals. Gotta do that, cuz they die, and I don't.
I'd become a merchant, selling things. What fun that would be... technology evolving over time.
I would absolutely love that. Would be able to witness so many amazing things would get to travel outside our planet to new planets and new star systems. Would just be an amazing time
from the millions of bad boring films there are so many good ones i would busy watching the many past and future interesting films after job.

I suppose acquire all the knowledge I could and obviously keep my immortality a secret. Try to live a happy life.
As soon as I found out, I would have tacos for dinner and play guitar, then the next day I would go surfing during in the morning and sailing in the afternoon.

Yeah I try many ways to find ways to die and yeah I would like to find someone also immortal too.
I don't think I wouldn't do anything differently. I would continue to live as I am.
