As we all know - there are the givers and the takers in this world, 🌎 but sooner or later we find the givers and keep them in our lives and on our radar.
The takers don't have any value to the givers so I don't associate myself with them.

I know I ain't no knight in shining armor, not with my belly and my head filled with moonshine. But I've got a heart, and it's breakin' every time Bobby Jo's with that black man, while I'm sittin' outside her trailer, strummin' my guitar and singin' my sad songs. People might laugh at my poetry and songs, but they're my way of expressin' the pain I feel and the love I still have for her.

God, He sees me, and I believe He wants me to find my path, even if it's a bumpy one. And I'm tryin', darlin', I really am. I'm thinkin' 'bout cleanin' up my act, puttin' down the bottle, and makin' something of myself. Not just for Bobby Jo, but for me, so I can finally be the man I know I can be.

I'm a man from the South, with a heart full of ache,
Sittin' here in the dark, with a guitar in my wake.
People laugh and they point, they don't see the real me,
Just an obese alcoholic, talkin' 'bout love and fantasy.

No one understands the pain I hold inside,
The tears I hide behind these moonshine eyes.
They don't see the love I have for Bobby Jo,
She's with a well hung black man now, banging him to and fro.

I write my poems and songs, pour my heart on the page,
But they're just words to the world, a redneck's silly stage.
They don't know about the nights, when I'm alone and blue,
Masturbatin' to Bobby Joe's pic, wishin' it was her I was with, it's true.
