This might be true for a very small minority of people that are into cars. The vast majority of them, including me, could not care less what kind of automobile a person drives, simply because we are not interested in that car is a 20 year old standard Japanese model or a one in a kind multimillion car produced only 10 times. Those are trivialities that most of us are not really interested.
I am not interested either in that person's income or how busy he/she is, again, because it is not something that interests the world population.
Finally, who cares how busy a person was. I don't think anyone cares unless they are in a relationship with that person.
People will remember your CAR?
I only remember the cars of people who I regularly rode with and who were close friends. People who I wasn't close to... can't recall a single ride.
But then again, I don't know anyone who had some exceptional sports or luxury car. And I never THINK about anyone's car.
I remember the person and experiences we had.
Cars aren't important. People are.
If you want attention, a sports car can work.
But it would probably help if you can find one in a brighter color then black.
Maybe not white either. I mean white is a bright color, but it's rather common.
A "louder" color will stick out more.
