How often do you see the time change without purposely staring at it?

Yup, in maths classes. I look at the clock at 12.37 pm, I return my focus to the old man's yap and then after 10 minutes I again look at the clock and it just turned to 12.38 pm.

That's how I know what subjects I like and what I don't.

Yup, it's either that I'm really bored or I'm actually invested but have something upcoming so I'm aware.

You got that. Like when I'm talking to my friends and I'm actually invested but we have a class upcoming and being late would get us into trouble.

Depends on the teacher, but maths teacher would make us stand at the back throughout the class. Chemistry and physics teacher are quiet chill, as long as you don't disturb their class. Biology sir would ask why we were late (he's the dean of science stream by the way) and the real excuse would be really stupid.

Not unless you create one lifelong excuse that's valid and can be used every time, when they see you late the teacher would just be like, I understand, don't worry about it
