No. My family suffered but i am proud of what they overcame. And i am proud of myself and my mother for what we have achieved.
I hate knowing what they went through. But god put them through it for 2 reasons they could endure, and to sharpen them for the fighr they needed to fight

Very wise indeed, it's a good response and positive, it was all terrible but we can't say there wasn't good results, not from the enslavement itself because that was not just pointless but cruel, a lot of character, strength and perspective has bloomed from those terrible times, I'm not crediting the enslavers but the slaves that managed to mold such a terrible thing and molded it to what we have today, many black folks have fought and even died to shift society in the direction that lead to how things are now, where me as a Hispanic and you as a black person share the same freedom and rights as everyone else

i'am from Chile here is very common to be very mixed except from black thats very uncommon. I have Croatian, Swiss, Native American and Spanish greatgrandparents, and i have brothers and cousins from all the range of skin colors except black.
