People get the wrong impression of me all the time. I'm very tall and broad shouldered. I also have a couple of tattoos, and I shave my head due to going mostly bald in my early 20's.
People always tell me that I'm very intimidating, and look like I am a football player, or some sort of guy that does physical labor. I've been told I'm scary at first glance.
The reality is that I'm a nerd who works in technology, plays video games, and reads. I'm a big guy, but I'm also a big softie.

I'm sure it's happened before, I believe for me is that people take me for a fool cause I'm a sympathetic person that likes to express sympathy but what they don't realize is that my sympathy has a patience meter, when it reaches zero it shuts down that part of me for that specific person, they usually realize it when they notice that change which is normally too late, their first impression is probably that my kindness can be taken advantage of and I'll always be there cause I'm a loyal person, I refuse to change that deceptive part about me cause they don't expect this dog to bite when it does, besides anyone is entitled to their opinions, besides they would get the best side of me if they never chose to take advantage of my good side so it's kinda on them I guess

  I would like to say something about first impressions and there isn't really anywhere else to put it...
  
  I don't put much stock in first impressions bc they are often very much a facade... not necessarily good or bad, but just not the authentic person. I really believe in putting aside my first impression of someone and waiting. Almost invariably, within a short time of meeting someone they will tell you EXACTLY who they are. Don't brush it off. Pay attention. It could save you a whole lot of grief. But we so often want to shrug it off or make excuses. That is a mistake. Hind sight, ya know? But I really prefer foresight to hind sight... every. single. time.
