If a prisoner in death row murdered, another prisoner in death row, maybe not punish?

death row is the part of a prison for criminal awaiting execution, for death for a capital crime.

So if one of those murdered another, of those, wasn't he gonna die anyway?

I thought death row prisoners were in solitary and not in general population. So how do they kill another? If someone in death row kills another prisoner, death row or not, I think that should mean instant execution within 5 days. There are lots of prisoners in prison for murder that kill others. Why are they allowed to keep killing with no repercussions?

Perhaps, but the same question if a dead murdered a visitor, or a visitor murdered a dead.

Just kill both! Death row in several countries lasts for years if it ever happens. Justice should be swift not 15 years later and a plea deal the man walks free cause of a typo!

They probably punish him because he took that away from the state from doing it and couldn’t waste more taxpayer money

There isn't much point in having trial over this murder unless there is a chance of a commutation.
