Dude, that picture is of a ferret, not a rat. Little guy might poop in a lot of corners and burrow in your couch, but will keep your home rodent free. Ask around and see who is missing their pet. I had one once. She played with my cat and dogs, danced around, cute as a button, and liked to fetch and snuggle. If no one wants it, get a ferret cage with toys, feed it, water it, and give it a name.😁

You aren't suppose to keep them in cages, they stink very bad if you bathe them regularly and if you leave them in cages with their own dookie, they have sensitive skin so they only require a bathe like once a year, apperantly their skin can get a reaction from a lot of water and release a ferret stank lol

Interesting. He would definitely let it out a lot. I think it was just that it was a dorm room and he didn’t want it leaving messes around, or getting out into the halls. He wasn’t supposed to have it in a dorm room.

I don’t think I remember him bathing her. The stink was more of strong wood chips, lmao, which I actually like but it was overpowering in a small space. We were only roommates a couple months so I didn’t get to see too much of ferret ownership life, but enough to get some sense. It was a big ass cage, lmao, all kinds of ferret playground equipment in there and shit
