Did your grandparents or great grandparents own a home from the Sears catalog?

My grandmother owns a home from the Sears catalog. My grandmother and grandfather put so much hard work and effort in this home generation has been past on. Parties, Christmas events, family gathering even weddings were celebrated at my grandparents house. I am wonder does anyone else on here or know anyone who lives a ventige home that came from the Sears catalog homes? Yes Sears century ago used to sale homes. My great grandfather build it when Sears sent the kit.

No. They lived on the Rez. Things aren’t commercialized like that out on the Rez. Maybe a little now, but back then during their time they didn’t even have a store to get groceries. Even to this day the one grocery store out there is very small w price gouging up the ass.

I saw a few old ones as a kid. Country folk used them as toilet paper.
