We had a sandbox swings and a slide in front of the house. We used all of them a lot. The slide was like 15 meters long but now it's been replaced by one of those standard short slides. I feel like over time they made everything worse. Kept cutting back the plants more and more, They're putting a new building where there used to be a tree and a lawn right on the other side of our fence so now it feels claustrophobic af where before it felt open and free. If I had a family and was offered this apartment I'd have to think about it because the location is still good but so much has changed. Back when we were kids it was paradise but now it's become kind of sad. There was also an external tap so we used to have waterballoon or watergun fights or also use the water in the sandbox. There was so much to do :) Playing hockey soccer and table tennis as well. Playing with sticks pretending we were jedi or whatever. We used to be so many different things like pokemon or ninjas or I don't know. Then we'd also go explore.

I think probably a kind of merry go round, but you should have seen it!

It was a massive rusty metal cone around a pole in the centre and a car tyre to cushion the impacts, wood like a bench around the base to sit or stand on. Total death trap. I can't remember if the floor was just hard packed earth; there might have been wood chips, but I don't think so.

Mostly I played on the swings & we had something called monkey bars. It was something like your pic of what you call a jungle gym only more complex & easier to get hurt on.
