Can u rate your dog from 1-10 as a watchdog & guard dog against people?

A watchdog is barking, and a guard dog is physical. Some dogs may protect the home against dogs but not people, so I am talking about people.
1. What kind of dog do u have?

We've an Irish wolfhound. He's a terrible watch dog and needs a lot of feeding and attention but he's a gentle giant though if he sensed a threat to you he might attack like the guy who started shouting at me in our drive about cutting him off, out he ran snarling, the guy jumped into his car and drove off as soon as he saw him. They are very big, fast and powerful. Like a much much bigger grey hound. He's 3 now, i will be sad because he will be dead in 3-4 years. He's such a big dog that if you were walking him no one would mess with you. I always feel confident walking him with the baby because he will walk with you rather than pull you. I'm 4ft6 and he's much much bigger than me, if he wasn't such a darling I wouldn't be able to stop him.
