How many years old were you when you found out sodium is not only a metal but it's flammable with water, moisture, steam etc?

Part of the years old series lol. I'm mindblown just realizing it's a soft metal you can cut with a knife like butter but that shit is highly flammable when it touches anything related to water like steam and moisture or whatnot, it's crazy cause we eat this stuff, they mix it with chloride (which is made from chlorine if I'm not mistaken) and we get table salt and here I thought all salt came from the beach or caves lol ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ”ซ
