What age were you when you started to remember back that far?

I know that I was 3 years old. I had a sweet tooth even back then and the small drug store near my house sold penny candy 🍬🍭 and gum.
Ahh! for just a dime I could buy a small brown bag with 10 pieces of gum and candy in it.
I was always pretty independent so I would go there by myself and pick out my favorites. I'd have to hide it when I got home though because my sister would try to steal my stash.
Have you even heard of penny?🍭 🍬

I was 2 and half years old and I remember feeling terrified and crying because I didn't want my Papa to leave me in kindergarten. I feel like I was being abandoned. I didn't want him to go. I wanted him to take me back home. My dad didn't want me to cry and want me to attend it so he said "I'll be here. I won't leave. Watching you from here. Why don't you try sitting with other kids and experience what it's like? It will be fun"

He had to convince me a lot and eventually I went in and kept looking back and he was there for a while before he left to work but I remember feeling so relieved when I saw him pick me up later from kindergarten ☺️

Yes, I was an anxious kid who would cling onto her Papa a lot, lol

I remember being 2 and sitting on the kitchen floor in front of my grandmother while she taught me how to tie my shoe. I was so proud. 💕

same... I think just months before I was three years old

I do remember bits of the house in which my older brother grew up, which was just before I turned three and then we moved to a new place

3 years old. Unfortunately the very first memory is a traumatic one. My father beat on my mother in front of me. That was my first memory.

I was 3years old. I went to kindergarten when I was 4 and I can remember the year before. There was a kid that lived across the street that moved when I was 3 and I can still remember playing with him. He had a cowboy hat.
