I have always fed my child, healthy meals, but she definitely enjoys stuff that most toddlers wouldn’t. For example her favorite meals are smoked salmon bagels, sushi, steak, Lobster/shrimp, eggs (she has 2-6 a day boiled/sunnyside up), and she loves coconut/dragon fruit. Also she’s obsessed with the labubus rn🥲

1 ySounds normal to me.
I dont see a problem.
this was how it used to be… proper foods.not the garbage they feed our kids… you wonder why kids are growing up with mental illness… and other diseases.
keep doing what you are doing.
we get our eggs from our neighbors who has 20-50 chickens with 4-5 different varieties of chickens. We get our meat, milk, butter from our local farmers. Fish from local fish market. Summer time we grow our own veggies.
so yes, kids have been eating the food you mentioned.

For my mom, I was the kind of child who ate everything no matter what it is and my sister didn't eat anything except oreos, cornflakes, milk and sugar cookies.

1 yyou are definitely Asian.
um, yea... seen that. no wonder Asians excel in school... that's one reason.
you know what American kids eat? I bet most people can't pronounce the ingredients.
Wonder why were are so screwed up..."Fruit loops", natural and artifical flavors in everythig , etc.. all that stuff is cheap junk.
It's good she/he likes real food!

"We'll I'll be the cats meow!"
1 ySounds healthy but also time to make her learn that she eats what she gets fed.
My brothers kids all went through only wanting what they like. Dino nuggets and burgers and avocado toast...
Your not a bad mom if she is not happy only if you always give her what she wants. Missing a few meals in anger won't hurt her.

Yes we’re definitely working on tantrum management lol but she cracks me up.

Good as long as your not being held hostage like some woke parents are. My neighbor panics when her daughter does not eat or throws a fit. She just gives in

Did you try cooking quality food at home, ingredients are pretty cheap..
What makes quality food Expensive is the restaurant and Taxes of dining out!..

We eat this at home we rarely eat out
- 1 y
Yeup she’s very healthy and tall already
1 yMaybe you can change her diet then. She’s a toddler and you’re the mother. It’s not like it would be difficult to get her to enjoy fatty, sugary foods that are cheap.

We definitely have but she prefers those things

1 yWe took our son to an Italian place in town when he was 2 or so. My wife and I ordered an appetizer of calamari. He managed to pull the plate towards him and start devouring it. His tastes have gotten less expensive as he gets older though...

It’s not super expensive and I’ve been eating those things already myself so we just meal plan but it is a bit different when we take her to daycare and she’s having A mini adult meal

How can child eat 6 eggs?15 Reply- 1 y
Well, she usually has eggs for breakfast and then during the day she’ll snack on some boiled eggs
Opinion Owner1 y6 eggs though
That's a lot of calories?
Even me as adult
I wouldn't eat 6 eggs- 1 y
She has a fast metabolism and is really tall for her age. My two year old is in the 90th percentile and wearing what a 4-5 year old would wear not fat wise tall wise.
