How did you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

I played hockey tonight. First time back in three weeks, I had stitches in my back so I’ve been on the shelf. My first league game since then is Wednesday night, and I didn’t want it to be the first time I played. So I went to a skills clinic and scrimmage they do at this one rink, to get my legs and lungs back a bit. There were a lot of beginners and/or older people there, and I actually knew the goalie from another skills class that I took when I first started playing a few years ago. He’s got Coke bottle glasses, he’s kinda crosseyed or has a REAL lazy eye, and mentally, he’s playing with like 50, 51 cards out of a full deck….. and he plays goalie exactly like you’d expect.

So with all these conditions, I was in a rare situation, kind of a “in the land of the blind, the man with one eye is king” thing happening, so I LIT IT UP, lmao. It was a good way to come back, got some conditioning AND some confidence. Of course I’ll get snapped back into reality a couple nights from now when I play real players, lmfao.

I don’t drink much but I stayed for a couple beers afterwards since it’s St. Paddy’s Day.
