Was in an accident Wednesday morning and the person behind me hit my car driving over 70 mph on the highway in Florida. Managed to get my car home and my insurance company (progressive) took my claim then ended it saying it’s on Enterprise as they are at fault. After 2 hours calling enterprise I have discovered all I can do is begin a claim on their end and will need to wait 10 business days for their investigation before getting options for repairs on my car.
What can I do for March while I wait for Enterprise? Or does anyone know how to get Enterprise to act sooner?

Thank you for the answers. 9 days later and my car still sits in my driveway damaged and no timeline from enterprise on when I can get it repaired.

Your car insurance should be following it up with enterprise to see who is liable. Are you sure you are actually insured? Also do you have evidence?
You need to have your head screwed on on these situations. I got into an accident in my first month of driving. What happened was a driver at a roundabout pulled out to far and then decided to reverse back in hitting my front bumper. So I got out and he got out and we both decided that my car was fine but he'd done some real damage. Fast forward an hour and the police are at my door about me rear ending this guy and doing a runner and he and 3 other people have whiplash and are claiming and pressing charges. Anyway I have a dash cam that cleared it all up.
Yes I have progressive insurance. Yes the lady hit me and she admitted to it and is liable. So progressive said I have to work with enterprise and they closed the claim
Yes had evidence as the entire back of my Kia is damaged. I have pictures and a police report stating she hit me
Glad you got it cleared up
If your insurance is comprehensive , its up to your company to follow that up , it shouldn't be your job , you are not at fault and that's well documented , I was hit by a rental car once ( in Australia ) and all was complete in a few days.
But mate , at 70 mph , more importantly thank god you are not hurt? Or I assume you were not hurt , thats not good , obviously playing with a phone that driver.
Yes thank God me nor the driver was hurt, we both acknowledged that. My rep at progressive texted me that 10 days is standard for progressive and said I could always pay out of my own pocket to rent a car
*standard for enterprise
And get reimbursed? Its pretty silly that you should suffer if you have comprehensive insurance , but maybe you dont have , it depends on the value of your car.
Enterprise can’t tell me if I get reimbursed or not. I have to wait until April to know
Look , Im not aware of the USA system , but if you have comprehensive thats simply NOT true , follow up and follow up aggressively , thats all that your country understands..
Because thats absolute BULLSHIT.. Thats if you have comprehensive insurance.. maybe you dont? BUT DO NOT JUST ACCEPT WHAT THEY SAY..
If I were there , Id follow it up , you can't wait , its not your fault and I can give you a plethora of reasons.. DO NOT ACCEPT , get angry , get ready , be the squeeky wheel
I wasted another hour on the phone with enterprise today. No I don’t pay the up charge for comprehensive insurance
Right , well that's why you have the problem , now I understand.
I would’ve thought Progressive would go after Enterprise for you. That’s kind of how insurance works
Me too. However she said that because the other driver is at fault; I have to work with enterprise for damages
