Do you talk to yourself?

Question

My friends think I'm crazy because my thoughts come out of my mouth in words. Are you like me & think out loud & talk to yourself?

I don't talk to myself but my late boyfriend sure did and a lot and for long periods of time each time he would have a conversation with himself.

But I did read that very intelligent 🧠 people do in fact talk to themselves.

I used to tease him and say "I don't mind that you talk to yourself, but if you start answering yourself THEN I will begin to wonder 🤔 about you"❣️

By the he was exceptionally intelligent!! 🤓

If I am trying to remember something because I have a lot on my mind I will speak it aloud in hopes I retain the thought. Such as when shopping and what I need to grab in the store next. "Next.. milk." A man smiled at me once, so I owned it. "Yup. You caught me talking to myself."

Talking to myself is my thing.
I mostly do this when I'm thinking about something that I don't want to forget so I will think it out loud in other for me to hear it as words next time I want to remember it.
