What is the question people ask you most often?

From what I see it's some version of:

"I like this person. They've been acting this way around me. How do I know if they like me back and how do I let them know I'm interested"

Immediately followed by not enough detail to answer properly.

(don't get me wrong. Many have great details. Many however, do not. I know because I ask for details, and I'm always thinking "how did you ask people this question without mentioning you've actually known them since preschool. That makes a difference")

I love this question, because 99% of the time, the answer ends up being "yes, he likes you for sure. No doubt about it."

I enjoy making someone's day. It seems mundane, but that's huge for the person on the other end. It's usually cute.

I've actually ended up chatting long-term with several people who I originally met over reply back-and-forth on version of this question.

People don't tend to ask me questions. Especially women. They form opinions in their heads and make observations about me most of the time. Statements, not questions.

But two seemingly innocuous small talk questions are painful for me. Because I either have to lie, avoid answering altogether, or get dragged into a long drawn out explanation I don't want to repeat for the thousandth time. If I tell them the truth, I get some over the top reactions.

1.) Where ya from?

2.) Whaddaya do?

"How are your studies going?"

"How much you scored in x examination?"

Obviously its my uncle and aunt, these Brown relatives will breath down your neck to know about your academics and to compare it with their children!

Luckily I'm the smart one but it's still so annoying. The good brown relatives ask questions like these

"Does your mom not feed you? You look STARVED! Come to my home and I'll feed you a healthy amount"

"Girl you look tanned! Your parents make you do a lot of work nowadays?'

Good cuz obviously I'm not fluffy enough and I'm a bag back who wants to empty everyone's refrigerator and not do anything.

If it's a stranger then obviously it's general questions like where are you from or what are you upto and stuff.

It depends on the structure of my surroundings, before realizing I was talking to the wrong people, the question was: "How is it going?"

After finding the right people, the most frequent question became: "What do you think?". It's a huge improvement, thank gods.
