How do you celebrate your Birthday every year?

I don't. Perks of growing up in an abusive household, it's the one time of the year where it all comes flooding back and nearly takes over. I prefer doing anything else except celebrate it and I don't tell anyone when it is. People don't really seem to care or remember anyway unless they get a reminder on their social media lol.

the last 3 years been celebrating all alone.. sad ik. i just get myself a small cake, i make it pretty. i get enough alcohol to get really drunk. i also open my presents, and make myself have something special for food aside of the cake. i might dress up nice for mysef too. i'll spend the day partially depressed and kinda suicidal, the other half i'll try to cheer up and plan my year by like making bucketlists or a pinterest vision boards for the year.

i don’t really celebrate my birthday... it’s not something i look forward to, nd honestly, it just feels like any other day... there’s a personal reason behind it, but over time, i’ve just gotten used to letting the day pass quietly...

My wife usually takes us out to dinner. I do the same for her birthday. When you get older, birthdays aren't really that important, they are an indication of one year closer to dying. 😐
