How would you react if you called the police and we're instructed to contact your local doughnut shop?

Well, we all have seen police officers hanging out at the local donut shop for hours at a time.
When I called to tell the police that I was robbed of my belongings by my caregiver (theft) and that she threatened my life if I ever called her boss, the police told me to file my reports online. I did that on March 7th and haven't heard a peep from them!!

I would feel bad for them as there's no doughnut shop near except in Paris so XD
