For me, it was this one time I almost died from eating salty snacks, such as flamin' hot cheetos, flamin' hot doritos, and spicy takis. I wish I was joking.
So when I eat a lot of spicy things I tend to start coughing a lot after a while, and having water nearby usually solves that problem.
On this particular day I had eaten a bunch of spicy snacks all in one sitting. And I'm not talking small bags either, I'm talking huge ones. I was extra hungry that day. I was bloated as fuck.
And so after a while I started to cough a lot...
I reach out for my water bottle, my water bottle is empty. Okay...
Then I start to look in my fridge for any other water bottles, milk, juice, soda, tea, coffee, any liquid, really... I find none.
I'm coughing a lot and start to get really desperate.
Then I turn on the sink... turns out the water is out at my house! The water was out and I couldn't find any liquid to drink.
At this point I don't give a shit. I run to the toilet, expecting to drink water from the toilet. Only the water is out at the toilet too...
And at this point I'm coughing non-stop, feeling a lot of pain, tears in my eyes, every inch of my body was hurting, I was seeing lights, getting lightheaded, my life began to flash before my eyes, etc. Then I passed out completely. I "dreamed" that I saw myself leaving my body. Then my body started to go to hell, then I got to hell, and in there I was in a lot of pain and scared more than I ever have been before.
Then about 5 or 6 hours pass by or so. After 5 or 6 hours I wake up. I had passed out near the toilet. The water was back. I began to drink from the toilet. I was so desperate and so thirsty I didn't give a fuck.
I'm not sure if I had actually died and come back to life, as I'm agnostic. But yeah.
I wonder if anyone else can top my story. Surely no one would be as stupid as me, right?
