What was the craziest day in your life?

3 friends and I (Scotsman, Englishman, Irishman and a South African 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇨🇮🇿🇦) when we were early 20s in 1990s went on a road trip to Eastern Bloc countries.

LEAD UP setting the scene

We hired a car in France drove through Germany to Berlin where we slept in a hotel car park stayed the next night as well after doing Berlin's tourist thing at the time all Soviet era stuff. Then set of for Warsaw.

The day in question. We swapped driving duty every couple of hours and being Autobahn it was young lads doing what you do with rental cars. Till we get into Poland where roads aren't assigned quality. It gets dark in the evening and we're on a main road and me and co driver stop to swap to let the other two takeover. As we got underway and about to snooze Saffa Sam yells "Ohh, fuck" shortly followed by two thumbs on thr front of the car and opening my eyes from snoozing I get a view of a body smacking through our windshield. We stop, get out and a huge dude and slight girl are sprawled the road injured so as military trained, we set about with first aid and called EMS. Within 30 seconds police were there and a crowd of 20 or 30 folk gathered while we did what we could. The Irish crew member was asked in English if we were German, his answer "NEIN" 😳😆 as we were Commonwealth citizens in a French car.

So cops get EMS and take the two away never to be heard of again. We're takento the nearest police station where we're fined equivalent now of €20 and told to drive carefully there are drunk people around lol.

Warsaw saw us get pulled over for having a windshield broken and all sorts of mayhem followed the next couple of days.

I really can't pinpoint just one thing. Nor in what area? Sexually I do crazy things all the time. Non-sexually... erm. Year before last took a boat taxi in Portugal. Was just a little row boat style. But the sea was rough and they almost didn't go out. But they dud and that boat was flying up the waves and hitting down so hard it felt like hitting concrete. And there was no handhold. Was little wooden plank to sit on. Felt like we was gonna die. Or at least get thrown out the boat. The little plank seat in front that a couple were sat on even came away. It was terrifying. But once made it safely to land extremely exhilarating and crazy too.
