Would you prefer to throw a ball or catch a ball? Why?

Depends which ball (s) I’m throwing and which ones I’m catching.

Let me put these in two categories : First marking is throwing and Second is catching. Ex: ✅❌, or ❌✅

Baseball ✅✅, A classic for a game of catch. Always see a father and son throwin’ around the ol’ white & red stitched ball.

American Football ✅✅, I did this in gym class getting practice catching / throwing to get a grip on the ball also be in a position to catch it.

Volleyball ❌❌ Would be serving, serving is fun. Throwing and catching, not so much.

Bowling ❌❌ Good at bowling the ball, if I had to try to catch it… Probably would end up with a broken bone or two lol.

Golf ❌❌ You putt it, not throw or catch and can’t imagine it being easy to throw or catch in a game of catch lol.

Tennisball ✅❌, Fetch with a dog. Any dog really lol.

@MisterWack well in British English the term " wack" is usually used in reference to somebody hitting you hard. Example: " He wacked you right across the head!" That's why I thought maybe it could be related somehow to balls. Lol!

Throwing is more fun. Seeing how far I can throw it is more fun that trying to catch someone else's toss.

When 10 I crossed left to right in the end zone and had to leap for the ball and the quarterbacks brother came under sweeping my legs up. I landed on my back, flipping on backward. It was the last play of the game, and we won. I stood up and spiked it in Mark's face.
