Education level is not particularly important. Temperament about the pursuit of knowledge and education is important, though. I know many highly educated dullards who wouldn't even be curious enough to know if there was edible fruit under an Orange skin if they didn't think that question will show up on a test.

I would rather surround myself with curious people who didn't finish 8th grade than PhDs who accept everything they're told. And in fact, in my hometown, we have a lot of people who simply didn't have the infrastructure support needed to pursue formal education.

An intellectual connection is critical to me, otherwise I know, from experience, that I'll start missing it, and I know that miss will get exponential. Education background, be it self-taught or regular academics is correlated to that intellectual connection. So, yes, in that sense, I view education background as utterly important.

Yes I think that I would look down on a woman with low education or not being intellectual on my level in the long run. So I would hurt her and then she would hurt me

I try to judge everyone as an individual... formal education does not guarantee "intelligence" .

That’s true, not guaranteed, but like even if people who have a good educational background are not guaranteed to be intelligent, how about people who are not educated?

And also someone level of education also describes their family background.

Probably wouldn't even cross my mind. If she's able to have a conversation with and hold her own in everyday chat then qualifications are not important.

Education level is a moot point. It has zero bearing on how attractive a woman is for a relationship. If anything, it makes women less attractive.

I think base intelligence is more important as one can always learn. Some people never had an opportunity for much formal education.

I only graduated high school until I turned 48 and went to college. Now I have a college degree that I don’t use like many college graduates.

I've met plenty of people who were highly educated and had the common sense of a chicken. I'd rather have a woman with a lot of common sense who didn't even graduate high school.
