Do you think education matter when choosing a life partner?

My girlfriend is a school drop out she can not even help a kidd to do homework. I think I deserve more because I have struggled so much to finish my diploma

In general I’m selective about dating partners, since I prefer them having good level of education. I want them at least to have finished high schools, since I think education is one of the ways a person build a mature and thinking mind.

No. I have a Master of Engineering degree but had a satisfying relationship with a woman who had a GED.

But I think that was long time a go, do you think it is possible even today where everyone need a certificate to get even a security officer job

It wasn't that long ago, but it was pre-COVID, which seems like a long time ago. The issue was that she lived in New York City, and I lived in Florida. She wouldn't leave her family and kids behind to go to Florida, and I sure as hell wasn't going to leave all of my guns behind to go to NYC. Nice lady. I liked her.

It depends on the person. If your education gap is something that bothers you now in your relationship, I imagine it will bother you in the long run.
