Can you sleep in a really quiet room?

I usually sleep with my fan on and windows open every night. I love how cooling it is and the noise of the bus and cars as they drive past my house.

I now live on 30 acres in a rural area. I love the silence, although most noises don't bother me, either. Sometimes there are crickets or frogs. During the summer, we have a fan and sometimes a window AC unit on.

I grew up in a suburb with my bedroom next to a busy street and was used to the traffic noise.

But I find the quiet where I live now soothing.

Yes, I can sleep in a quiet room or a noisy one. I have a ceiling fan over my bed in my summer house. I hate it when it is blowing in my face.

My ceiling fan is the middle of the room so it doesn't blow directly down on me

Yes, if I am exhausted. If not, I will lay there for longer than I would like before I fall asleep.

I like to have something on in the background like a fan, or audiobook, or the TV (with a sleep timer of course!).

I currently live in the Country. For as long as I can remember my room has been quiet. However it does suffer from light pollution from my devices. The answer is yes, quiet rooms are the best.

Definitely. I live surrounded by silence so I find it very easy to sleep that way.

Yes no lights not even a clock. I use an Alexa to wake me up. Fan be only noise.
