I've often pondered this myself. I've looked back over millenia and pictured a Roman senator cracking one and all the other senators bust out laughing. Or maybe while discussing terms with farrow Moses cuts a cheesy one and the guards all laugh. Not to disparage the main man Moses. He kicked a lot of ass.
