How would you respond if your neighbor sent you a text saying they're put of town and if you could keep an eye on their car?

sure thats fine like it takes no effort
like sometimes when my neighbor is out of town for a day or two i'll let their dogs out to the bathroom and play with them a little (i have a key). it takes like 15 minutes and i'll do it twice a day
they'd do the same thing for me. if its anything too much i'll just say no or they just offer money
I have a soft spot for animals so I'd do that because animals can't help they have owners that don't plan accordingly. Animals are like babies. Yet with people I don't cut them slack they know better.
I would say ok but no neighbor of mine have my number so
Yeah at this point I'm not sharing my number with neighbors. They're annoying af
Well none of mine ever asked for it, no need becuase we're neighbor so if we need anything we just go to their door and ask (well here it's mostly just yelling from our window to ask for help that we do xD)
But yea I never had to give it cause it's not how it work where I live, we just yell at each other from the window to ask when we need something and after my neighbor used to be couple so it would be awkward if a couple asked for the number of a single young woman, not sure their wife would appreciate it xD
The fact that they didn't ask until after they already left would annoy me.
I'd probably do it, this time, but I wouldn't make it a priority, and ask them to make arrangements ahead of time, in the future. If the same thing happened again, after that, I would tell them "no."
This and the timing was terrible text me on mothers day like wtf. So I responded to her 11 hours later yes 11 hours stating I'm busy but if im around ill let you know if I see anything unused. Cordial yet boundaries and after that I blocked her cause she will not make this a habit
I guess it depends on what they mean and how close they are. If we're in an apartment building and there right next to me or right below or above, then sure, I'd probably do it. As long as it meant simply going in and making sure the cat has food and water.
Right it's stupid

I'd tell them to install a remote monitoring security system or hire a house sitter.
I have a life.
Lmfaooooo 😂 🤣.
I'd write a note that I can't.
And stick it behind his wiper.
😆😆
Then don't make it a favor, make it a service, bill their ass 💀
Facts 🤣🤣👊🏼
I'd do it and decline in future if they started taking advantage.
Good boundaries. Yea my neighbor sent me the text on mothers day. I'm just like wtf. I told her I'm busy but if I notice anything unusual I'll let her know then I blocked her. I don't want her asking fir anything else
In addition to me replying 11 hrs later so she can get the hint I'm busy and uninterested
Tell them you're busy, but if you are around and notice anything, you'll let them know. But it depends on the situation I'm in.
Depends on what neighbor, but I might help them.
I would watch the vehicle. And make sure their property is safe
I like to help people no problem
I like to help people no problem
I’d ask why
Right like ask somebody else to do it 🤣
