Greetings My Television Brother From Another Mother! As for your television it truly & deeply saddens me to hear that you are having horizontal line problems with such a wonderful piece of television technology.
Loose, damaged or faulty display connections are often the culprit of horizontal screen lines. Sometimes, unplugging and replugging your HDMI, VGA, or display cable will fix the problem. If reseating your input cable doesn't get rid of the horizontal lines, replacing the cable may do the trick.

If checking all the cables, settings & unplugging it for ten minutes doesn’t work down the road maybe you can visit someone technology savvy or a television repair shop & they can have a look at it & check out the ribbon cables inside.
I wish you the best of luck troubleshooting buddy.
It's not a bad tv trust me and its hdtv
It’s a great television & being that it’s getting older just be careful you don’t bump it & if you don’t have your electronics on a surge protector that might be a good investment.
I did bump into it once in front of it
The girl above says it's an old tv
With all honesty it is an old tv & I have one from 2007 that is older. As for the girl who said it is old you have to admit she is right. I remember you saying you have two tv’s so you can always switch to that one if needed.
It isn't that old honestly and i'm using a new HDMI cable for it
Don't know switching to my other tv would mean a smaller screen
A good set of HDMI cables is always a good thing & sometimes HDMI ports get lose so you can always switch another HDMI port.
Is your tv fixed or does it still have lines?
It's fixed a little with the new HDMI cable less lines
When i turn it on now no vertical lines
It doesn't matter if it's old right?
New or old as long as it still works that is all that matters.
Is mine a good year though?
If your television is still lasting or has lasted this long it’s a good year.
No i mean the 2010 year for it
They don’t make stuff like they used to & in 2010 they made good stuff & your television too. I have two Sony televisions, one is from 2007 & the other one for 2017.
I see the frame around it is somewhat thin though

... Maybe it's becoming a Griselda Record album?
That's an old TV, I don't think it's worth to bring it to repair. You could try to tap gently around TV frame if it's a connector oxidation issue and reset this TV.
It's from 2010
Means you’re LGBT for wanting me to sleep with your favourite transgender souls

It's broken and would cost more to fix than buying a new one.
How does it look as a tv to you?
I have a Samsung TV, works good.
This is a LCD HDTV
@Redpowerranger98 Similar to my Samsung. The photo is blurry but the label (bottom center of the TV) looks like SAMSUNG. Is it?
Yes it's Samsung does it look old?
Try rebooting it. You have to unplug it from the wall And let it sit until the capacitors discharge. Several minutes.
I did that just now
Did it work?
Same thing
It’s gone to plaid, might need a new screen, so it’s probably not worth even fixing
It goes away and there's no cracks on screen
Probably a loose connection or crack in the circuit board
It's from 2010
It’s old for a tv but I have one older that has a green line through it but goes away it is on awhile
Should i keep it?
It does have 1080P
I guess until you buy a new one
How does the tv look to you?
Well, if it doesn’t have the lines normally it seems like a decent TV but 15 years old so I would probably just get another one if it keeps doing it.
It goes away fast
Eventually, you’re gonna want to get a new TV
Ok but this one's so much bigger than my 32 inch RCA HDTV
Keep it until it dies, I guess
Did you redline it or something?
No...
I don't know it works still
Why don't you like my tv?
As for his wonderful tv he didn’t redline it & although something did happen it’s back from the dead & it’s working again. In 2010 they made some really good TV’s @Redpowerranger98 yours included.
I'm using the new hdmi cable on it and no issues like before
Time to buy a new one
The tv works still
Doesn't look good
It works still
It’s broken..
How do you know?

Hmm what do I do?
