I recently read a new interpretation of einstein Attitude: einstein wanted to rush to build atom bomb for... deter germany. He heard Germany was making one. Therefore

only if we u. s. had one, germany would not use it first knowing we had one to reply.
Later Germany surrendered so no need to build. It was only intended as deter... same as during cold war deter so soviet don't use,

not to use first on germany... nor japan that was not trying to make one. The only rush was for germany. einstein told roosevelt not to use it first, but roosevelt died and truman -d dumb democrat , mass murdered two cities men women and children staining American history with dumb democrat decisions including genocide.
