When does "good afternoon" become "good evening" for you?
For me, it just feels weird to say "good morning" after 11:00 AM; people are already having lunch.

This depends much on the time zone my conversation partner is in.
Locally, the natives here have one-for-all phrase that fits any time of the day.
Its: ''Sawadee Kap'' (which is how a male says it) --- I sometimes alter it to ''Sawadee crap''... and get away with it.

if it is already 11:59:59:42 or later... then I'll just be like
good... afternoon
When I'm working nightshift and get to work anywhere between 7-11 PM I say good morning lol... wigs people out a bit at first then after a while they all say it
When the sun gets on top of my head causing so much heat that the sweat starts dripping down my ass, I start saying good afternoon. When the sweat evaporates, it's good evening.
In France we say "Good Moaning".
