Can you name the worst way you would not want to die?

Question

For me, it's being blown up.

That would be so devastating for my family to only have ashes or pieces of me.

I sometimes think about 9/11 and how those families didn't get to properly bury their loved ones.

I fear that could happen again and that I would be in the building when it happens. I know it's a low-probability fear considering where I live, but you never know these days what could happen.

If you look it up back in the Middle Ages, there was a job that was basically known as a "Dung farmer." it was their job to clean the castle cisterns and latrines. The thing is we have documented incidents of the shit and piss building up so much that when people fell in, they died because the liquid was too thick to swim in, so they sank into the filth and drowned in it. This was also an incident that literally changed history where multiple people drowned in a shitter when the floor collapsed.

Flaying or in other words being skinned alive. You know like in Game of Thrones with that one Northern house that betrayed Rob with the flaying man on their flag. Or like in season 2 of the Netflix show Happy with the chocolate Easter bunny. I don't want my final hours (or however long it takes) to be in complete agony. To be fully aware that even if my assaillant were stopped and I would somehow not die from the fact that I no longer have skin, that their is no way for me to go on from that and even have a single happy moment in the remainder of my shorted life.

Worst? Slowly due to dementia or some other wasting illness. There are many ways to die suddenly. Unless you live in a war zone, death by explosion is highly unlikely. You are far more likely to die from a heart attack, a stroke, an automobile accident, etc. My hope is to die quickly with no foreknowledge.

So, I have a royally f*cked up brain, which routinely kills me in my dreams at night. At this point, I have experienced "realistic" death in just about every way possible.

So far, my least favorite has been burning to death, because not only is in intensely painful, but it's agonizingly slow, by comparison.

Fun fact: getting shot in the head was the quickest, & least painful. Now you know. 🤷‍♂️

I think being slowly devoured by flames, toes and finger, hands and feet, legs and arms, torso, neck and face than the brain starts too cook as final. You won't miss nothing not a single nerve until the end.
I had a dream about that many times. when I was a medicine woman who performed abortions was sentenced by inquisitor court to burning at stake. I saved lives but lost mine.

I imagine burning to death to be pretty grim but there was one guy who survived for a long time with radiation sickness from a nuclear accident that sounded horrific because he was being kept alive as an experiment on how to treat this condition. He apparently begged to be euthanised before he passed away.

Slow, painful, drawn-out ways.
I know beggars can't be choosers, but I'd really like a nice quick death that I don't see coming... which is why I haven't tried anything like drinking bleach or whatever.
Nobody who has promised to murder me has followed through yet... probably because it was just internet bravado on their part.
I think if I have to pick a #1 way NOT to die... it would be to become paralysed from the neck down and kept alive on life-support for like... 30 years.
Conversely I'd love to get blown up, as long as I'm at ground zero.

Burning at the stake would be a horrible way to go. It's slow and painful. Getting blown up or decapitated would be relatively quick and painless.
