I'll start this off with a weak one... This post is really stupid.

We had this railroad control computer system that would repeatedly fail if there was no activity on its system console. So we wrote a simple Turtle Race program that kept the system console busy. Problem solved... until the company President saw it and made us turn it off, despite our protests. A few hours later, sure enough, it failed, bringing his railroad to a halt until it was restarted... this time with Turtle Race running.

Basically a man wanted a word tattooed on his arm, he chose the font, looked at the stencil, chatted to the tattooist, watched him tattoo his arm in big letters

And never noticed it was spelled wrong until it was too late.

On my way to work, I go through a small village with a 25 mph speed limit, once out of it, it jumps to 35 mph. Then about a half mile down the road there's a big, yellow speed limit sign that warns of a curve and says "Slow to 45 mph". Then, after the curve, the speed limit is 45! Some city workers were either hungover or still drunk.

I've had veterans at work tell me they're "100% disabled". If you were "100% disabled", you'd be a fucking corpse, and you certainly wouldn't be operating a motor vehicle or a boat
