Have you ever fainted/passed out?

I have twice. The first was when I was in my early teens I think. I had to get some blood work done and I can't remember how many samples they took, but it was a lot. I blacked out/fainted but I'm not sure if it was from the blood being taken or me just freaking out about it. The other time was really my stupid fault. I had worked all night without sleep, then I was drinking and getting high with a friend in the morning after having given blood. I remember telling my friend that I was really high and then I passed out.

Oddly enough, I did last year.

I was way overworked and not looking after myself, and then I was watching someone have their blood taken and I just passed out. It's weird, because I don't think I've actually fainted before that. And secondly, I've never liked having blood taken, but I've kind of gotten alright with it with age.

On the plus side it was a rather nice place in my subconscious that I went to. I just remember a bunch of voices chattering away, almost like being in a dream. and a feeling of light relaxation.

I did get close to passing out when I had my routine of school jabs, for some reason they never reacted well with me, and I got extremely sick. Low blood pressure etc.

Many times. I remember the first time it happened. I was 8 and I was at a funeral. We went outside to the graveyard to bury the casket. I’d been standing in the heat for at least an hour on an empty stomach, next thing I know my body looses all feeling and there’s ringing in my ears, and im suddenly laying on the ground. My head fell very close to a gravestone, im lucky I didn’t get a head injury.


I also remember the last time I fainted. I was heavily pregnant in the middle of summer in 2023, and I was walking around a department store. I forgot to bring a water bottle with me and the heat got to me and I fainted in one of the aisles. Thankfully one of the store employees saw me and rushed over, sat me up and made sure I was okay, and then offered me his water bottle.

@AndrésC64 Yes, also twice, once in the Military, in a combat zone, after throwing up for two weeks, and the Sargent Major sent me on 'sick call'. The Dr. gave me an injection of Compazine, and I collapsed onto the floor.

Another time suffering from C-Diff, I lost consciousness and fell, injuring myself to some degree. In the hospital for 45 days

Wow. I was going to say that I could imagine passing out or fainting in a combat zone, but I really can't. I just can't wrap my head around what combat would be like. Thank you.

@AndrésC64 I knew we were headed to a'war zone, and I puked in the barracks floor, the morning we left, and was sick all the way there, and was with the Sgt Major at the Port, finding our containers for me to pull back to the company area, Spent the entire time hanging off the pier 'retching'... Next morning, the Sergeant Major said..."Fall out and go on sick call" Guess he saw I was in trouble.

Yup I have POTS and usually I can tell when it’s going to happen. But sometimes I get caught off guard. Scared the life out of my poor coworkers the other day.

Only once after having too much fun at a heavy metal festival but after very 10 very intense bands it is understandable.

Thankfully no. I’ve lightheaded, but never to the point of passing out.

too much under the sun, and I would just drop... lol

In my teens a friend and me experimented with it.

Hyperventilation, and next assistance from a chest pressure lock from behind.

A cool experience... but pointless as well :D
