Bedroom easily. I rest there. I do my funny business there. It's the place I'm most relaxed and alleviate my stress. It's so good that I don't want to leave it.

I would say tie between the wash room and the living room. The living room is the room where I spend time before heading out, so any time I’m in there means it’s a good time. Also after a long day before I can make it to my bedroom, I may crash there. Usually it is the place of gathering, so any special shared moments with loved ones will be there. Lots of jokes shared are part of that.

The wash room is also a favorite cause it’s a place I can recharge and coming from a big family, it was the only place within the family house that I could get uninterrupted space. No yelling for dinner or helping with stuff.

It was also a peaceful place because of the combination of bright light and water sounds. I could think about life, scroll through phone. Sometimes I’d even watch movies or shows in there 😂

It felt like a private place of solitude where I could block out the world entirely.

definitely a tie between these two. I think as a bit of an introvert, it makes sense. I socialize and find the best creative moments in the living room, and in the times to recharge and be in deep thought/reflection, it’d be in the wash room.

That's a hard question to answer. I love my living room where I write, watch TV and stretch out on the sofa. I love my bedroom where I sleep. I love my back room where I have a view of my back garden. I love the kitchen where I assemble and cook great meals. I love the bathroom where I take relaxing baths. I love my sewing music room when I work on clothes repairs and creations...

That only leaves the extra room where I iron clothes. But I need it. Don't love it, but it's a room I need to use for storage and guests and its big closet. All the rooms in my house are purposeful and useful. OH and there's the tool room where I have all my working tools to fix things around the house and store the pressure washer, paints, sanders...

I just love my house.

Oof. That's tough. I think part of what makes a house a home, is taking the time to make it "yours".

That said, it'd have to be my music room. It's actually my living room. I like playing different instruments. I have a piano, a guitar, violins and a clarinet sitting freely or hanging on the walls, always in tune and ready to be played at anytime. I frame autographed pictures or album covers from artists who serve as my inspiration or whom I actually met, on the room's walls. The corner has a sound station with a vinyl record player and a collection of records from classical, to jazz, to funk, rock and even that occasional Christmas record. There are loveseats for guests to sit and listen and the floor has an authentic Persian rug passed down from my grandparents.

The entire room is a story of myself and my family.

I like the living room best as it's where I feel most connected. It's connected to the kitchen, the deck and the bedroom so everything is close there. It's also the most sociable space in the house.

My place in Scotland is oddly the loft. No windows just a large quiet space where isolating can be achieved.

Tough one. I like my bedroom because I just set up a zen corner, but the living room has a really nice new sofa and my husband set up the tv so we can play all kinds of games on emulators.
