What animal do you find the most fascinating?

For me, it's the mantis shrimp. The Oatmeal did a wonderful job detailing why they are so awesome and deadly at the same time. What is your most fascinating animal though?

I think cats are the most fascinating of all animals. They have very complicated behavior and communicate very well with humans if humans can understand them and have very specific communication with each other as well. My cat Allister is sitting next to me nodding his head at all this.

Cats. They crawl walls like a spiderman. They fit even in small bowls. They walk on thin lines.. They have incredible reflexes. They escape snake bite at the inch before their nose.. they take care of their kittens quite well... which shows they are a total package.

I dont have a mantis shrimp either since their punch is so strong they could break an aquarium wall. I mean, technically, it's so fast and powerful its flash boiling the water, but it is possible.

I would love to own an axolotl one day, but for now it's just 2 cats and 2 dogs lol
