Do you believe ADHD is a mental disorder?

One time I heard a person say it isn’t a mental disorder but I tried googling “is adhd a mental disorder” and Google it told me yes it is.

Who do you think I should believe, the person who said it isn’t or Google who says it is?

yeah its just really treatable and common, so people doubt it

like if you're not medicated and dont have good habits then its easy to get depressed

Google obviously. Unless the person who says it isn’t is a doctor, they probably don’t know what they’re talking about. My therapist says it is a mental disorder and he is an M. D.

Psych organizations are calling all sorts of obvious and serious disorders simply "differences" or even "normal", for the most part so they don't have to pay for treating these conditions. My wife is in the field as a Licensed Counselor and keeps getting the short end of the stick in dealing with clients who should be seeking even deeper treatment.
