Have you ever been unsure if a memory you have is actually a dream of yours or vice versa?

I swear sometimes ill randomly remember something but then wonder 'wait was that a real thing that happened or was it a dream i had long ago?'

Or maybe you remembered a dream but then remembered 'wait i think that did actually happen!'

I've still got a vivid memory of being woken as a child late at night to see a giant space ship cruising slowly overhead. It was so low the aliens waved to us as it past. I couldn't under the next day why no one else remembered seeing it.

Obviously a dream but it didn't fade like dreams do and remained as clear as any real event. Had the dream been of a plausible event I'd still be convinced now.
